Vehicle Detail

Up for Sale is a 1970 Volkswagon Camper bus. This is a decent bus and I hate to get rid of it. No it is not perfect , but it is a solid bus with a few small issues. I have owned buses since 1997 and loved every minute , this is my second bus . At one point it was driven a lot. Then I got married and had kids and life happened. I have been trying to get time to spend with it but life happens. I now need to generate some money and unfortunately I have to let her go. I know she is looking for a good home so someone can continue to love her. I think the garage is boring for her. The person i bought it from said they got it in Texas so it is pretty much rust free. The rocker panels and underside are in great shape. There is some rust along the front windshield in the usual spot. Also from the bad seal water has leaked in a little and caused a rust spot on the lower front nose on the drivers side. There is some rust on the drip edge, and also there is a spot in the read quarter panel . This all might sound bad but compared to some bus's I've seen in the northeast this is one is great. The other issues that i know about is that there is some repair needed to the gas pedal. I have purchased a repair kit but haven't put it on yet. Also currently there is some type of fuel issue. I had some old gas in the tank and added stabilizer but i don't think it did well. Now i think there is a blockage in the tank outlet. There is no fuel coming out. But not to fret , I was planning on investigating further but never got around to it, but i will include an extra fuel tank I have with the auction , just in case there is something wrong with it. The engine was replaced a few years ago and was in running condition before the fuel issue. I am sure it could use a tune up from sitting, I am sure the points aren't liking that . Also I have a bunch of extra parts i am willing to include in the auction. I have a ton of different things that i have been saving and collecting over the years. I am willing to include it in the auction (if it goes for full price) These parts include a variety of parts from interior pieces to engine pieces, to a whole set of extra tires and rims , hubcaps, shifters , all sorts things I know i mentioned some bad things but i wanted to be honest about the bus. It is not perfect , but with just a little work it will be back up to great shape. with a little more work it would be a perfect bus. The interior is in decent shape, we just put in a new pergo floor in the rear and it really is great, I hope i described her well , but if you have any questions please ask. Thank you for looking and please give my bus a home in your garage. my loss is your gain, I don't want to sell the bus but I MUST .
