1971 VolksWagon Karmann Ghia Auto Stick. This Ghia is in good condition but needs a little work to the carburetor. I bought this a year ago but have not had time to enjoy it. The body and interior have been reconditioned. The white wall tires are in good condition and there is a new battery. The motor turns over but will not idle on its own. The Autostick is a great feature for the person who does not know how to drive a manually shifted car. Update 8/14/12. Idle issue was due to poor fuel flow. Cleaned the filter and idle is good. This vehicle does not appear to have been in any accidents. There is no visible rust although when I purchased the car the paint was new. The roof liner has a little sag most likely needs a glue repair. Door coverings are new. Windows rollup nicely. Idle does need to be adjusted but it is drivable. I took it on a little trip around the block. The Ghia is located near Mission Viejo if you want to see it prior to bidding. I do not know the full origin of this car but it has been in Orange County for the last year. Prior to that it was in Northern Cal.
