1988 Mercedes 560SL Well Cared for with just 49k Miles! We have a very low miles lovely 1988 Mercedes 560SL, VIN WDBBA4809JA088741, available for purchase. This car comes from a time when Mercedes produced well built cars that were intended to last a lifetime. This particular Mercedes has only traveled 49,097 miles from new. It was purchased new here in Eugene, Oregon and has had the same owner since 2000. It has no accident history nor was ever exposed to salt so it is totally rust and corrosion free. It is finished in a very attractive and elegant deep gunmetal grey metallic with grey interior. The car is original as delivered off the showroom floor with only a Sony CD changer added to the factory Becker Grand Prix stereo. The car still retains its original paint that has a deep lustrous glow with only the slightest of rock chips. Body fit and finish is excellent. The dash is uncracked, the wood is near perfect, and carpets and seats are excellent. It runs and drives as good as it looks, and is as close to new as one can expect. The A/C blows cold and there is little one could fault with this car with the exception of a couple minor dings from removing the hardtop along with minor touch up on the center paint on the hardtop. It has always been driven carefully, was garaged, and well cared for throughout it’s life. The books, records and tools come with the car. The spare has never been on the ground and has the jacking instruction card still fitted. All the wheels are in nice condition with factory original finish and good tires.
