We are auctioning this Pontiac due to a reposession of the vehicle. THIS IS A TRUE NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! STARTING BID $1!!! The known history is as follows: The car was rebuilt/restored approximately 5-6 years ago. New metal was used when replacing any body parts- new floors, trunk pan, rear fenders, ect... The body is straight but there's some flaws. Also replaced: the seat covers, dash, headliner, and carpet. Motor is a 350 believed to be original and has been rebuilt. Transmission is a 4-speed Saginaw. The rear end was just replaced with an Auburn Posi differential. I'm not sure on the gearing but is feels high. New wheels and good tires, new exhaust with headers. New brakes all around. Runs and drives with plenty of power. I put on about 30 miles with no problems just a few days ago. Overall the car is in good shape but it was an ameteur restoration. Please look at the pictures showing where the paint has cracked: the previous owner used new steel but the filler did not hold up and has cracked above both fenders in the back. Most of the restoration was done properly and new steel was used where needed but my guess is moisture made its way in over the winter becuase the cracks just appeared this spring. Other known issues: there is no heater, shift boot is missing, exhaust needs to be mounted properly, tail lights do not match, seat is loose, no radio, gas guage innop becuase of a bad ground, it could use new tie rod ends. I've listed all I know about this car and obviously this was someone's project that was not quite finished. Please understand that I've been honest with all that I could find and it's possible you may find more. There was a lot of money invested in this car so far and it won't take much to make it very nice. The car is listed for 7 days. I can show you this car any time, day or night.
