In our auctions you get all the details, both good and bad. In addition you are always welcome to come check this quad out and ride/inspect it for yourself before the auction ends to ensure your happiness. Thank you for looking at our auction. ATV: This ATV is a 2009 Honda Rancher 420 Foot shift EFI 4x4. The Rancher line is the best selling line of ATV's in America. It is one of the most versatile, dependable ATV's ever made. It starts with the 420cc four stroke, liquid cooled work horse engine with electronic fuel injection. This is one of very few ATV engines that will go beyond 10,000 miles with just regular maintenance. The engine is backed up by the awesome manual foot shift transmission. With the foot shift transmission there are no belts to worry about getting wet or slipping. To be clear, while you do shift among 5 forward gears and reverse with your foot you do not have to use a clutch. These late model Ranchers can be taken in and out of 4 wheel drive simply by shifting a lever, unlike the older, full time 4x4 version. If you are reading this you probably know about Honda's legendary quality. We get to work on every ATV out there and the simple truth is that Honda's are simply a better made product than the competition. This Rancher has 4 New tires and a Quad Boss winch already installed. Condition: This machine is in excellent used condition. This model doesn't come standard with a speedometer or hour meter so we have to go on condition. Based on tires and overall wear it couldn't have more than around 30 hours or 300 miles of use. It runs great and has lots of power. The brakes, transmission, and etc. all work great. It runs perfectly has no leaks, smoke or any other issues. It does have a few normal trail scratches like all used ATV's, but nothing serious or significant. The engine runs perfectly and it does not smoke or leak anything. The wheels are in great condition and the tires are Brand New all the way around So overall you are getting a very nice used ATV at a $100 minimum bid and no reserve. You could go buy a new one for $6000+ or here you pick the price, what more could you ask for? Accessories: We stock and install all the best ATV accessories. So if you want to add a snow plow, trailer, winch, nicer wheels, etc just drop us a line. We'd be happy to help. Shipping: We do not provide shipping, but many of our customers have had great luck lately with www.uship.com You can post your shipping requests there and let shippers bid on them. I will be happy to work with your shipper within reason to make it go smoothly for you. Details: Overall this is a very nice ATV that will make someone very happy. As for transaction details, We are MLS Powersports, located in Georgetown, Kentucky (40324). We are right off Interstate 75, 15 miles North of Lexington, KY and 75 miles South of Cincinnati, OH. Our preference is that you pick this machine up with cash in person, but we will also accept a certified check, or bank to bank wire transfer. It MUST be paid for (not necessarily picked up) within 7 days of the auctions close. We are willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements. If you pick this ATV up in person, we are required by law to charge you 6% Kentucky sales tax. We will provide the winner with a KY Certificate of Sales tax paid. When you title this ATV in your home state they WILL credit the 6% back to you and you will only have to pay the difference (if there is any) to your local sales tax.(Except in West Virgnia) We do this all the time, do not worry, you will not have to pay sales tax twice. If you have it delivered to you, anywhere outside of Kentucky, you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may still have to pay sales tax in your home state. The only other exception to this sales tax rule is a valid state exemption for farm/agricultural use. We don't need a deposit but if we ship, it must be paid in full first. This machine sold new in a state that does not title ATVs therefore it does not have a title. It does have documentation showing its legal chain of ownership and a notarized lien release. It can be titled in any state that requires titles for ATVs with a notarized Kentucky bill of sale which we will provide. You are welcome to inspect it as long and well as you like before finalizing the deal, but it is used and sells as-is. Thanks and happy bidding.
