Up for auction is a nice 1996 Subaru Legacy LS VIN 4s3bd4550t7208657 with an odometer reading of approximately 159,XXX miles, teal exterior, and grey cloth interior. This vehicle is in reasonable cosmetic and mechanical condition, has minimal rust for a vehicle of this year and is all wheel drive for tough winters. This vehicles’ exterior is in good shape, but has several mild imperfections such as dings, chips, and scuffs on the exterior. All exterior lenses, trim, emblems, and rubber moldings are present and in good condition. The glass is clean, clear and original, and all interior trim and accessories are present and accounted for. There are minor rust spots that are not easily visible. The bumpers are chipped and scratched as well, plus there is a fist size dent in the trunk and passenger rear quarter panel. With some minor body work, this would be upgraded to an excellent vehicle. The interior is clean with seats are in good shape (Note: seat springs are in good condition) The dash and wood trim are in excellent shape and the carpet looks decent all around, but could use a good cleaning This vehicle is equipped with the following: · Dual Air bags · ABS Brakes · Power windows · Power central locking · CD/tape/AM/FM stereo. · Power steering and brakes · Automatic Transmission · Working Air conditioning · Intermittent wipers · Four-wheel disc brakes · Cruise Control Further, as stated before, this vehicle has been minimally driven for the few years. The following work was completed/parts changed: 1 Front axles 2 Alternator 3 New battery 4 Oil change 5 Rear brake lines 6 Master cylinder 7 Fuel tank filler and vent hoses 8 Rear diff bushings 9 Refinished rims Tires have 75% tread remaining. What does it need? Passenger side exhaust manifold gasket is blown out. Very noisy, but common with Subaru’s flat-four boxster motors. Not a difficult fix.Sunroof does not fully close, but does not leak.Passenger tire has a bead leak and looses air over a couple of weeks.ABS light on. Likely a sensor.Master Cylinder and rear brake lines were changed, but not completely bled out. Soft pedal, plus rotors are a little rusty from sitting.Power antenna does not fully retract (very common issue with power antennas.)Key does not work in door locks For the best indication of this car's condition, please study the available photos and feel free to ask any questions.
