Vehicle Detail

1985 Alfa Romeo GTV 6... this is a late GTV 6 built off the shortened Milano floor pan. It is a better design and is more desirable than the earlier GTV 6's built on the Alfetta design. I have owned this car since January, 2001. It has no rust and has no known accidents. I know the previous owner and I have all of the cars early history documented. The underside is incredibly clean. The car is stock with the exception of the following: New Red carpet installed, Milano Verded Recaro Seats installed, Factory Alfa Romeo SZ wheels with Michelin tires, Koni Shocks, Stiffer Torsion Bars and Springs as well as being lowered. Yes, this car does have a sunroof and A/C. I have driven the car very little in the past few years (only about 600 miles) and the A/C needs to be recharged. It has a slow leak and it needs topping off each spring. I have lots of spare parts and a matched set of front and rear sway bars that go with the car as well as a set of original GTV 6 wheels. I am selling the car due to a move and I no longer have space to keep it indoors, it has always been garage kept. All sales are final, no returns. $500 deposit due within 48 hours of auction close, non refundable. Item must be paid for within 7 days of auction close and must be picked up within 10 days. I will not ship this item. Please contact me with any questions For some reason only one picture loaded and I just erased the pictures from my computer. I will load more pictures tomorrow. A lot of you in the Richmond, Va area will recognize my car. In the picture it is parked in front of my shop next to a customers Maserati Bora. I just had it brought to my attention that the vehicle history check states that my car was involved in an accident in December, 2005. (I did have a Milano Verde that was totalled in 2005.) This is incorrect, this vehicle has never been in any accident in the time I have owned it or previously that I am aware of. It has been repainted once in the mid 90's, but shows no sign of any accident or rust repair. i welcome any inspections of the car. It is a very clean, nice car. Not show, but a great, presentable driver. On Jul-27-12 at 19:25:36 PDT, seller added the following information: I have spent some time today trying to correct the error on the vehicle history report. According to eBay's vehicle history report it says my car had an accident on 12/7/05... this is not true. My Milano Verde was in an accident on that date and apparently there has been a clerical error at some point and the wrong car was reported as being in an accident. Someone at the insurance company probably didn't imagine that someone would own more than one Alfa... obviously they didn't know Alfa people too well! I can find no easy or quick way to take care of this problem. I can assure you the car has never been in an accident in the time I have owned it, 11+ years, or at any other previous time that I know of. I welcome any and all inspections. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you. One additional thing I forgot to include... This car has factory european front pipes with a custom stainless steel center and rear exhaust. Sounds great! On Jul-27-12 at 19:39:03 PDT, seller added the following information: If you look at my other auctions you will notice I am selling a 3.0 164S motor... I have everything needed to do a full 3.0 conversion on the GTV 6 inlcuding engine, harness, ecu, air flow meter, rev limiter removing chip for ecu, new parts for a freshen up rebuild on the motor, lightened/balanced flywheel, a close ratio transaxle which was just rebuilt (has about 3k miles on it) at an expense of just under 5K. I even have a Milano Verde speedo and sending unit so you can have a working speedo when you install the Verde transaxle. I have a new Alfetta steering rack (1/4 turn quicker lock to lock), the car has already been lowered with AR Ricambis Super Sport torsion bars and springs with Koni's, but I also have the matched set of front and rear sway bars and poly bushings for the car. $8,500 takes the whole package... Let me know soon so I can end the auction on the motor. There are a good deal of other parts that I will give you as part of the deal, but there are too many to list...
