Please ask me any questions. ABOUT THIS CAR: I took this 2001 Subaru Outback Limited in trade on a newer Subaru, My goal is to make my trade-in allowance back. So the deal goes to you - the highest bidder - regardless of price! The lady who traded this car in trusted it enough to drive it 4-hours from Connecticut to me in Rome, New York. And it made it here with no problem. I have inspected it and test drove it and found the mechanics of the car to all work well. The vehicle runs smooth, there are no leaks or engine problems. The car shifts perfectly and the clutch feels good. The tires have excellent tread. The brakes are good. The vehicle runs in the normal heat range - even after the long trip here. The only thing that I found that may need attention is a some exhaust noise coming from the middle area of the exhaust. It is noticable when idling, but is quiet when driving. The check engine light was on and it will probably need a sensor or possibly a catyltic converter. It is certainly worth any repairs it may need, as this is an excellent running and driving car. It performs very well. The exterior paint shines new. There are only a few imperfections normal with any used vehicle. It has no rust or ugly marks. There is a small area of paint bubbling above the rear wheel well - not rusty- photographed. It has a couple of dents - dings on the front fender - photographed. This was not from an accident - it was from a child bumping into the car. Overall this car has a very nice solid and straight exterior. Still looking good after all these miles. The interior is very nice also. It has all the luxury features including Leather Seating, Cold Air Conditioning, Dual SunRoofs, CD, and full power options. The A/C is very cold. The blower works fine too. The leather seating looks great with no holes or ugliness. There is only slight wear - where the driver sits. But the leather is overall excellent. The remainder of the interior is also excellent. It is clean and smelling fresh. Carpets are good - some staining. It isn't showroom new clean, but nice and clean. Overall, this car is one that looks and performs like a car with less than half its miles. This car should go cheap - Whoever gets it will have a steal. I would drive it anywhere. Please read on for details. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION REPORT (FULL DISCLOSURE) MECHANICAL & PERFORMANCE: I personally test drove this vehicle and found it to perform exceptionally well - especially for a car with over 200,000 miles. It drives straight down the road with no pulling or other problems. Brakes feel good. Tires are excellent. Runs well. Clutch feels good. It has some exhaust noise - not loud but noticable. Check engine light is on - may indicate a sensor or catylitic converter problem. NOTE: The check engine light may have to be taken care of before passing emissions. Check with your state regulations and your mechanic before bidding. Even if it needs a new one, this car will be well worth the expense. Oil has been recently changed. I would drive this car anywhere. EXTERIOR APPEARANCE: This is a good looking Outback. The factory black paint shines new. No ugly rust or body problems. One spot of paint bubbling above the rear wheel well - photographed. One area of dings / dents where my finger is pointing on front fender. Overall an excellent looking car. Certainly does not look like it has a lot of miles. INTERIOR & COMFORT: GOOD INTERIOR!
