AUCTION ENDS SUNDAY MORNING! AUCTION ENDS SUNDAY MORNING! The winning bidder will receive this great running 2007 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. There's a brief walk around video and also a driving video on youtube. Search heygjcvpi1 for the walk around, and search heygjcvpi2 for the drive down the road. I have no clue how to ad a link, or I would. NO RESERVE!!! WHY USE A RESERVE??? THESE AREN'T MILLION DOLLAR WORKS OF ART!!! DECIDE THE LEAST YOU'RE WILLING TO ACCEPT AND START THE BIDDING THERE!!! Reserves only WASTE the time of buyers watching, or bidding on, something that you may think is made of gold! Don't use ebay as your feeling ground to get a sense of what someone will pay. This is an auction!!! People auction to get a good buy, not to be your personal research service. That being said... My cousin and I bought 2 of these about a year and a half ago from a small town that sell them when they reach 100,000 miles. Mine had a slight miss so the mechanic replaced the intake manifold and said the intake is the weak link on that engine. He assured me the replacement is much better than the factory manifold and it should never be a problem again. If it hasn't been done on the CVPI you're looking at, budget it in between 90K-120K miles. I guarantee you WILL be replacing it. The last 15,000 miles have been a dream! The car cruises perfectly down the highway and stops on a dime. The abs brake indicator stay on but no codes show up and all functions normally. Update: I just found out it's a different code reader that resets the ABS light. I'm assuming the shop that did the brakes didn't have one. The air and heat both work but the car does need a new blend vent door actuator. It's about a $40-$50 part, but you have to pull the dash to get to it. If you can do it yourself, great! If you need a mechanic to do it, it's about $400 to install. I currently have 11 vehicles, 5 licensed and insured, so something has to go. I'm going to start the bidding at a very low $2999 with no reserve! Keep in mind this was a patrol car and may have a few dings here and there and has a 2 cracks in the grill area, but nothing you notice from 10 feet away. The paint actually shines like new. There is an area on the right rear pillar where the white paint has peeled off (see photo) and a similar area on the roof front edge. There's also a slight crease at the bottom of the left back door that just caught the driver door. I'll post a couple pics now and more later in the week when I wash it. If you like driving in the left lane and having everyone move out of your way, then this is the car for you! Cops in the ditch wave as I drive by! The tires are road-ready and all the glass is good. All the power windows work as well as the power locks. The interior is very clean with minor driver seat wear and some scratches on the dash from repeatedly replacing the radio mic. The back passenger interior door handles are still disconnected and must be opened from the outside. All doors open and close smoothly. The car has lots of room and the trunk is huge. You can easily get 20MPG if you drive sensibly. It also has a ClassII receiver hitch that I've never used and I don't know why the police dept. had it installed. Take advantage of this LOW price now and fix the actuator at your leisure. Of course the car drives and functions normally. How else can you own a great running 2007 American made V-8 powered auto for under 3 grand? YOU CAN'T! Call or write with any questions or come take a look and drive the car yourself. Thanks for looking and good luck! GJ 8173six89477 I also put on new rear rotors and high dollar brake pads. I can deliver free to Minnesota August 16th as I'm driving up for the State Fair. Call for details. I can deliver anywhere on Interstate 35 as well if you're willing to drive me the remainder to St.Paul. This means payment in full and I'll meet you at any exit on I35. I've sold 2 large outboards that both went to Iowa and all went smoothly. The mileage may have another 100 or 200 by auctions end. If you've never bought a car from an online auction, I understand it can be a little unnerving. 10 years ago you never could have convinced me that I would purchase a vehicle sight unseen. I've since bought a dozen auction cars, trucks, and trailers solely on the information in the description. I've sold about 5 or 6 cars on ebay along with a few hundred other items ranging in price from $9.99 to over $10,000 and my buyers are ALWAYS happy with my description and have commented "Better than described". So, if this may be your first experience buying a car online, you don't have to take possession if you choose not to. You will forfeit your $200 deposit, but that won't be an issue because you'll LOVE THIS CAR!!! My 8 plus years and perfect feedback assure you this car is just as described. I have all paperwork showing I paid over $4000 when I bought it and put about another $1000 into the intake and brakes. It has served me well for over 15,000 miles and I'm pricing it to give someone else a chance who could never afford a 5 year new car. I've been in dozens of cabs that were CVPI's and 250,000 miles plus was the norm with many over 300,000 and 1 that had over 400,000 miles, original motor! Put the whole price on Paypal, fix the vent thing when you want, paint it your choice of color at Maaco, and for maybe under 4 grand, you could be driving a car that books out for twice that. These CVPI's are tougher with tougher everything. This is a different engine than in a regular Crown Victoria. These are built for abuse and speed. So when you find them in these sleepy little towns, you know the abuse has been kept to a minimum. There is no "detuning" of performance and if you're not careful, it will downshift as many gears as you ask it to from a press of the gas, rocketing you forward around those pesky drivers going the speed limit. :) Go ahead, treat yourself to 8 cylinders of Dearborn Iron. So, you can buy this car at a reduced rate because of the faulty vent actuator, or you can pay full price for another CVPI and then STILL have to fix the vent actuator (and the intake), when IT fails. Because it WILL fail. A class action suit was brought against Ford for the intake issue, unfortunately, any remedy from Ford does not apply to commercial vehicles. I bet we see the same thing for this actuator. I can't imagine this auction closing w/o a bid, but if that's the case, I will keep this car, commit a couple days to pulling back the dash and replace the actuator myself. I will then sell my Fleetwood, Maaco said they'd paint the white parts black for $300, and drive this car as long as I can. My late friend Jim holds the record in our circle with a CVPI that had 330,000 miles, original engine. I'll keep changing the oil, and with the 40,000 miles I drive a year, I'll drive this Crown Vic to half a million miles in no time. AUCTION ENDS SUNDAY MORNING! AUCTION ENDS SUNDAY MORNING!
