All titles will be delivered within 30 days. Please be patient with title process time, your temp tag is good for 60 days. It usually only takes a week for the title to arrive. The failure of a licensed automobile dealer to provide a title within 30 days is punishable by revocation of the dealer license and possible jail time. It is a violation of state and federal law if the title is not delivered within 30 days. We never mess around.
Insurance: The person purchasing the vehicle must have written proof provided to us by the auto insurance company or with their letterhead on it provided by you that the purchaser currently has the state minimum auto insurance on another vehicle, or that the vehicle being purchased has been insured. If you currently have insurance on another vehicle it takes 15 minutes to add an additional vehicle to the policy which includes the insurance company faxing or emailing us proof of coverage. A current insurance card will be fine.
If the purchaser of the vehicle cannot provide any of the required forms of insurance, the vehicle will be transferred Title Only. If there is no proof of insurance provided, Connor Motor Sales will not provide a license plate. This is a federal law which all dealers must abide by.
