No reserve, 2008 Dodge 3500 Dually Cummins Automatic Flatbed We are a construction company that works primarily in the oil and gas industry. This truck was used off road most its life in the mountains of Colorado. I have been driving this truck for the last few days and man does it run out good. The Cummins diesel has more take off power than any Cummins that I have ever driven. I can tell by the way this truck looked, when I took it out of service, it has been taken care of, the driver that it was issued to took pride in his work and in his truck. This truck has a 9’ 6” long bed that is 8’ wide. It has two 30” boxes on top and two 36” boxes on bottom. The boxes seem to be in pretty good shape. When I picked this one up there was a noise in the rear end of the truck. I took it in to Chrysler and the said that the ring and pinion was worn and that is what was making the noise. I had them rebuild the rear end with a new ring and pinion, at the same time they replaced the exhaust filter, put new brakes on the front and did their inspection to make sure that is was safe. They put a tie rod on the front drivers side and aligned the front. I had two new tires put on also the old ones were rock chipped from being off road. It cost around 3500.00 for all the work they did. I got it out of the shop a couple days ago and have been driving it everywhere. All in all they fixed it up nice and it is ready to go. I would not be afraid to take off and drive this one across the county, it fires right up and goes straight on down the road. The front tires are new and the rear tires around 50%, the rears are also rock chipped but will pass DOT inspection and feel safe. The outside of the truck looks pretty good with minimal chips in the paint and small scratches. The lights all work inside and out. The inside is pretty clean with the exception of stains on the seats, the stains didnt show up that well in the pictures. The driver’s seat has a tear in it. Check out the pictures of the truck and you can tell that it was cared for. I cannot tell if anyone has smoked in it or not, it does not smell like smoke but that doesn’t mean anything.
