This is a clean, rust free 1971 MGB in Olde English White. The previous owners restored the car 5 years ago at which time any "suspect" metal was replaced. Since then the electronics have been enhanced as well as a replacement of full brake system, rear mounts, rebound straps, clutch, slave cylinder and more. I, myself, have owned the car for 2 years only adding 800 miles. It has been stored in a garage and never driven in rain or on wet streets for at least 5 years.Highlights:The engine starts easily and idles nicely.The distributor was professionaly rebuilt and recurved in 2008 and is powered by a Pertronix electronic ignition module.Nicely detailed and clean engine compartment with all line and hoses properly routed. Nitryl rubber hood liner with MG logo.The seats are in good shape but the drivers seat bottom is showing light fading.The carpet has been replaced and is in good shape. Both door panels and visors are newer. Original style Kangol seat belts for driver and passenger.Convertible top is 5 years old with no rips or holes.All 4 tires have great tread and a spare tire with wire wheel is included.No dents or dings just a few minor paint blemishes.In addition to the car, the sale includes a full tonneau cover (no rips or tears) a high quality car cover, the original jack with vinyl storage bag, keys for the door and trunk, a parts manual and some spare parts. A tool kit has also been mounted in the trunk.The car has a clean title and is being sold in "as is" condition with no warranty. The winning bidder will pay $300 deposit within 48 hours via PayPal, with the remainder due within 7 days in the form of cash, certified check, or direct wire transfer.
