I am selling a 1946 Packard Clipper Deluxe 2 door sedan. It is in ok condition, not mint but it looks pretty nice. It runs good. Breaks good, Shifts good and is a nice car. I bought the car 40 years ago. My wife and I drove it for three summers to auto shows and swaps. Then we parked it in a shed. It has only been started (not driven) a few times since then. I decided to sell the car now. I drove it about 30 miles last week, and it seems ok. It is a straight 8 with shift lever on the tree. When I bouight it from a young couple, I had to replace the clutch, exhaust system and most of the interior. About 20 years ago I installed a 12 volt battery and 12 volt generator. I got tired of the slow 6volt system. I have ceramic resisters installed between the battery and lights, radio etc. It can easily be returned to its original 6 volt system. No parts were removed. It is a vetry old car so it is being sold as is. Naturally, no warrenty or guarantee. This is a nice car, not a parts car or junk car.. The speedometer reads 53000 miles... ?? Don't know?? There is no delivery. Buyer must arrange for and pay for any shipping or delivery of the car.. Payument is expected through Pay Pal. and the title will be released immediately after payment.. The interior was redone at one time. It still looks pretty good.
