This auction is for a nice 1988 Land Cruiser. It has always been here in Southern California, to my knowledge, hence the nice body condition with no rot. Although it has 230,xxx miles on it, it has been very reliable and has excellent engine compression (166-155-160-160-155-160), and has never been rebuilt. If you know Cruisers, then you know this 3.0 3F six is likely to last 4-500K before a rebuild. Transmission shifts properly, transfer case works as it should. Runs and drives great. Not perfect but way better than most. Some clear coat fading on the paint, as you can see in the images and video. Interior could use a cleaning but not abused or nasty. Very nice dash, no cracks. All power windows and locks function properly. Drivers side mirror adjusts manually, but power function is not working on it. Passenger mirror works fine (power). Antennae is broken, upgraded detachable face in dash CD stereo. Passed Ca smog last time with no drama, reliable track record. Some recent minor service (a few hoses, front brakes, belts etc...). Front brakes have 85% media left on the pads (rotors OK at 20.00mm/19.93mm). Rear shoes have 40% media left on them (drums are OK at 298mm). I would paint it, service it and dial it in, but no time! Too busy with work and family. A nice Cruiser to run as it is or restore to your liking. As is, where is. I live in the San Fernando Valley. You are welcome to inspect it.
