Re-listing due to bidder not paying. Do not bid unless you have the ability to buy. Satisfy yourself as to the condition before you bid, car is sold as is. Bug does not have current registration and has not been paid in three years. I checked online and the car owes $685. If you are out of the state of California you don't have to pay the fees. I have the title and you can register in your state. $200 deposit is due within 48 hours of auction end. Full payment due within one week. Deposit must be paid first! 1967 factory sunroof bug. 1967 is the last year of the classic look for the bug. It is also the first year of 12 volt electrical system. Body is very solid but does need a new front apron. The only rust on the body is on the passenger side at the bottom just before the rear fender. The rust is only on the outer skin, I have included a picture of the inner area and you can see it is clean. The doors open and close well and have good gaps. Other than the obvious damage to the front, the body is in great shape. No other accident damage. Included with the car is a new left front fender. Also included but not pictured are the original 1967 only front seats, driver's side arm rest and door glass, original spare wheel and jack. The pan is very clean and all original. Even under the battery is very solid. Just a few small holes at the back of the battery area. The rest is super nice. Interior is in decent shape but the original seats needed work and aftermarket seats were installed. The original seats are included. No carpets but the hard to find passenger kick panel is in place. Door panels are decent and the headliner is very nice, no tears at all. Sunroof works but will need a new gear sometime soon. Works fine but you have to help it along so the gear doesn't slip. Electrical is in good shape, but horn and wipers are not currently working. All lights work except for dome light. The bug drives well, but has only been driven around the block in the last two years. Good clutch and transmission works great in all gears. Low miles on engine and lots of new parts. Exhaust is aftermarket. Other parts are German. Brakes and steering are in working order. Comes with ignition key but the door key has been lost. Glass is in good shape, rear pop-outs are original and look great. Most rubber is new. VIN tag was replaced by the California CHP and has the original numbers. Steering, suspension and brakes are all in working order Has original spare tire and jack Clean title, registration is not current, fees only have to be paid if you are going to register in California.
