Ok, here's the deal. I bought this car without consulting with the wife and then recently I came clean about it, and now I must sell it. We already have two FD's and I was going to make this third one my track day car. All of that is out the window and now it's going to be a project for someone else. This is mostly just a shell of a car with exactly what you will see in the pictures, a blank canvas for the foundation of an awesome road/drag/drift car, so many possibilities! The car comes with a salvage title but has not been registered by me or the previous owner. The previous owner bought it from NJ after it was salvaged out because of an engine fire, and had it sent to OK where he completely disassembled the car and parted it out. After he tore the car apart, he found that earlier in the cars life it had damage from a collision on the passenger rear, the repairs were made long ago and look ok, there is no indication of this damage on Carfax, the car is salavage only because of the engine fire. The title indicates 168000 miles because they could not turn on the instrument cluster to verify the mileage, so they put an average of 10k miles/year. This car actually has only 50K miles on it, the previous owner verified this when he powered up the car. Also from information and the parts I have seen or have off of the car, it is an R1 model. One of 638 Brilliant Black R1's, I own one of the other 638 so this was a bonus to me. I have created a PDF file of over 100 photos of the car with included parts and a'la carte parts that are available to the next owner at great prices. I am setting this auction up to be able to buy the car as cheap as possible making a lot of parts optional to cater to the next owner. I've had FD's for over 10 years and wish I could keep this one and buy many more, but I can't so I'll just stick with the 2 I have. With a set of wheels, this car is a roller, however, I am not including a set of wheels with the sale. I do have an extra 2 spares that are available for $50ea and we can use some of my stock wheels to get it loaded on a trailer if that helps. $200 deposit required via Paypal within 24hours of auction close. New owner will have 14 days after auction close to schedule a time to pick up the car and pay the remaining balance in cash only.
