this is a 1954 Dodge mail truck. its an older restoration, (about 10 yrs ago). it was originally blue and white with red decals that had U S MAIL in white letters. it has been repainted a tan color for the body and white for the top. all glass as well as the rubber around the glass has been replaced. doors work good even the rollup back door. still has both rear inside lights still mounted in the rear with the original lenses. brakes have been fixed but has been sitting a while and may need attention. at least 2 tires will need to be replaced fairly soon due to dry-rot. rebuilt 6 cyl. dodge engine runs good less than 100 miles put on rebuilt engine. a studebaker borg-warner automatic transmission original to the truck and changes gears good. right hand drive. carpet covers almost all of the inside. a real eye catcher. was told that there were around 250 made for the us postal service. 12 volt. not perfect. but would be nice driver with a little tlc. very unusual looking truck. any questions call Bobby at 336-627-1615. truck is in Eden, NC. about 1 hr. north of Greensboro, NC and about 20 min. south of Martinsville, Va.
