Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE 64 Plymouth Fury Convertible. Many say this is the best styled of all the first generation B Bodies. Rare power options include Power Windows, Power Bench Seat. Runs and drives good. 318, Pushbutton Automatic. It's a fun cruiser to enjoy on a nice day right now, or can be a great platform for a Max Wedge or Hemi car project. Solid, straight, with minor rust in the usual places. Needs paint, upholstery and some minor repairs. Odometer shows 24,xxx, don’t know if that’s original or not. Doors both close with a solid thunk. A Pacific Northwest car, it hasn’t seen salt. What rust it has is from Seattle’s liquid sunshine (rain). Still has original body paint in front wheel wells and peeking through the undercoating underneath. Car has been repainted the original light blue once. Needs to be painted again. Body tag says it should have a blue interior; it became turquoise sometime in the past 48 years.Drivetrain is original except for rear axles and brakes, which have been converted away from taper axles to 65 & up one piece axles. Top is good except for 3 small tears on driver's c post (see pic); a new top kit (black) is in the trunk. Rear window motors don't work, power brake booster also doesn't assist. All in all a great car for convertible that will be turning 50 years old in a couple of years. I just need garage space now. Advertising locally, so I may end auction early.
