This is a fantastic rust free original car that has not been changed or alteredother than cosmetics. The manual convertible top and back window are new. The upholstry is originalexcept the inserts ( exact same material ) are new on the front seat as well as carpet. The factory Ramblerradio might need a fuse.. The glass is beautiful as is the chrome and garnishment. No disappointments here. I bought the car in Westwood, Kansas in 2009. It was a little old lady car that had been stored ina heated garage most of it's life. No rust, wrecks or damage. It just needed brakes and cosmetics which includeda $ 5000.00 paint job in it's original red color. It was well taken care of the last 50 years. I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. The 192 cubic inch six cylinder motor purrs and runs downthe road at highway speeds. This is a nifty RARE and desirable convertible from the second generation AMC Rambler familyand simply put is probably the best original ( with cosmetic enhancement ) around. It is certainly the best looking withthe most desirable red color. It stands out and people flock around it wherever it is parked. Rambler convertibles are almost extinct in any year, few were made and this is an ideal prize for anyRambler collector that wants a nifty beautiful convertible, great on gas mileage and a show stopper ! I have lost my storage and am selling some of my classics.
