Welcome I have 1998 Mazda 626 for sale. I have the car since 2008 and I know a lot about it and I know what I am selling. The car runs and drives very well. It's been my daily driver. I did about 50 miles every day to and from work. It is very reliable. Never let me down. The major repair was to rebuilt transmission right after I bought it in 2008. That's my second 626 and as you probably know the transmissions in these cars fail at about 120 000 - 140 000. It happened in both my 626's. So if you looking to buy a 626 with that kind of mileage be sure to check the transmission very well. Transmission in my Mazda was rebuilt at 136 000 so it has about 50 000 right now. Besides the transmission I did a lot of other repairs. Find it below: 136 000 - transmission rebuilt 140 000 - ac recharged 157 000 - new water pump and timing belt 167 000 - new cv axles 174 000 - new brake rotors and pads 183 000 - new 4 tires The car looks pretty good for its age. Some rust spots but not many. The condition is good for its age. There are minor things that didnt bother me so I never took care of it, because it didnt affect running and driving the car like cracked windshield (upper part), some minor oil leaks from the engine and struts. The check engine light is on at times. Code 0402 - catalytic converter, which was replaced not long ago and failed, so it didnt make sense to me to replace again, especially that it doesnt affect the engine at all. Anyway the car passed emission test until 2014. I invested around 4000 in this car. It is not perfect but I think is much better than other cars from this year. As I told you I used it everyday with no complaints. The interior is very clean. The car is used so there is absolutely no warranty or promises. I wrote everything I know about the car. Just wanted to be honest. The car must be picked up before July 27 since I am leaving for vacation. There is no reserve. Good luck to you.
