Estate Sale Texas Car, Trucked to Michigan After Death of Family Member. This Car was My Sisters car, I am selling it for my Mother who is executor of the estate. The car has always been garaged while my Sister owned it and during the last seven years has been driven very little (due to illness) as you can see from the Auto-Check Report. We didn't check, but have been told that the Soft Top needs to be replaced. We believe that the frame is fine but the canvas and/or windows are what's bad ( OE German tops are available here on ebay for under $400.00 so it's not a big deal ). The tires are driveable but are dry cracked from old age and do need replaced. We were going to replace these two items, but figured it may be better to let the new owner have choices of colors/styles etc. Everything on/in the car is original save the dashboard, which has been Professionally "skinned" over with new. We are led to believe that the seats have also been Re-Leathered Profesionally - and they both look GREAT !!! Even includes the Original working Radio and the Original factory supplied Unused First Aid Kit behind the passenger seat. Also Original full sized spare with Pirelli tire. We have maintainance records from both original owners which will be shared with the New Owner. Mileage may change during this listing due to test driving as we will allow any perspective buyers to take this fine car for a test spin... she is also listed locally. The 'Trip Meter' was not working so I purchased the gears to repair it and had it repaired - now it works perfectly. Mercedes used a volitile grease on these gears which made them brittle, they broke in 99 % of these cars. The seller here on ebay who sells the gears will tell you he sells about 30 sets of gears a month... Radio Power Antenna was not working so I bought an original 'rebuilt' one and had it installed. It's hard to get pictures of the underside of a car, but, this one is so clean you could eat eggs off of most places.... Remember, it's a Texas car - it's whole life. Everything works, AC is cold, heater is hot, engine runs strong - 130 MPH feels like 80MPH, transmition shifs very quickly, very nice driving car.
