Up for sale is a 1976 VW Camper. This camper has all the original windows, paint, and interior that it came with in 1976. It's in great shape for being a New England vehicle all of its life. There is rust in different areas (shown in the pictures/videos) and there is surface rust on the frame. The engine runs but won't idle, and I don't know why. I bought it in 2009, and since then, I have put in a new solenoid, fuel filter, battery, starter, spark plugs, fuel pump, and some new fuel lines around the filter and pump. It needs a new set of tires because the old ones are dry-rotted. The van also needs some side mirrors. I am only selling this because I got a different van recently. I've taken great care of it and hope the new owner will enjoy it as much as I have. I have never had it on the road, although I have driven it around the yard. It shifts pretty well. I know the previous owner has taken a roadtrip in it to California from Northern Maine, so it has been around the country. When I bought it, the owner told me that the motor had been rebuilt withing the past four years (so around 2005 I would say). If you have any questions, just message me and I will answer them :).
