On Apr-29-12 at 08:04:26 PDT, seller added the following information: this 64 comet is a 3 owner 62 K orig miles .very nice driver for shows ,cruise ins and just cruising,it was repainted in1979 1 time, ,want you to see the body as it is,still nice for a 50 yr old beauty,the top is in perferct cond ,but white tops show stains,but its still nice and its the orig as far as I know,the interior is untouched and very nice,no rips or tears anywere,the carpet is sun washed and all original,but slightly faded,the am radio works perferct and has a fm booster under the dash to listen to fm stations,works nice,everything on this car works like new,the points were removed for electrinc ignition,you cant tell by looking at it,still the orig distributor,runs dowwn the hwy 70 mph no problem,doesnt smoke or use oil,car gets alot of attention as it is very rare,it was the ionly 64 calaiente convertable at the ford nationals this yr.my home # is 814n 766-9929 also have the 4 polyglass tires in very good cond that came with the car,they have 75% tread,but drives nicer with the radials.,this car needs nothing,hop in and drive it across the US,new radiator,new tires,new brakes,runs like a new car,drives new ,everything works,looks like it did new,never cut up,never molested,even the orig radio,phoilco works just fine !the paint is still very shiny,a few dents and scratches ,if you want to drive it to cruise ins,its fine and gets lots of attention,if you want a new show car,it needs repainted,but it will e ae easy job to do as the body is nice,one rust spot in the pics !there are spots were there was body filler used on the 1/4 panels and have held up very nice considering the paint is 33 yrs old ! .my email is jeffmel2bikers@centurylink.netOn Jul-04-12 at 17:46:49 PDT, seller added the following information: You may now go to see the car on utube, put{ 1964 comet caleinte convertable for sale} and see a 9 min video of getting thre car uncovered,start up and I videod the whole car for you ..On Jul-05-12 at 03:24:20 PDT, seller added the following information: Utube video on utube ,1964 comet caleinte convertable for sale ,its a 9 min video ,according to how the bidding is going someone is getting a real bargain as this is a very rare car.we took it to the carlise ford ntls and it was the only one there. payments thru paypal are a 300 deposit and the remander ,by ,cashiers check,money order or cash in person,personnel check will have a 7 day hold period tilll it clears the bank. thanks for bidding,youll really enjoy this beauty.
