1961 750 Abarth Berlina Great Project, Very Complete I have for sale my 1961 750 Abarth Berlina project. I have realized that there are five of my personal cars in line for restoration ahead of this one. So in an attempt to pacify the logical side of my brain this real Abarth Berlina is now available for sale. The car is a black plate California car and has a very solid body. There are minor dents, waves and a poor very old repaint on the car. The rust is mostly just confined to surface rust on the panels with very little need for replacement. It is still fitted with the most all the original Abarth bits including the neat tubular header and nearly all other parts such as tiny the chrome tachometer mounted in l/h side of dash, the special grill and emblems, the special Weber carburetor, the rare tachometer drive under the distributor, the Abarth only 90 mph speedometer, a water sensor and elbow, and the longer Abarth 750 radiator. It also has the early series trunk lid props which I do not believe have ever been reproduced. I will not part the car even though those Abarth parts are worth thousands of dollars and getting harder to find daily. The engine is a non running core 600, not the original, gearbox may be original. All the items shown are what you will receive with the car, plus a NOS center hood chrome trim.
