Vehicle Detail
You are viewing a used minivan I have for sale. Here is what I know about it: It is a 2002 Ford Windstar 7 passenger minivan with two sliding side doors so you can get in from either side. It came from a local new car dealer that took it in on trade. I have been driving the van every day running errands (and going to lunch at the diner) and it is a real nice van. It runs and drives very nice and it is a very clean van as well. The engine is a V6 and it starts right up and drives good with plenty of power. The engine itself and the whole engine compartment under the hood is very nice and clean and looks well maintained. It has a new battery, and a new alternator. It looks like if something needed fixing, they did it. The engine is very smooth running and does not smoke or make any weird noises. The transmission is an automatic and it drives and shifts good like it should. The tires are good on the van, you do not have to add air to any of them. I would guess they all have at least 40% tread and I would not be afraid to drive the van anywhere on them. They are 215-75R15 size. The interior of the van is very nice for its age and miles. The airconditioning is COLD! We are in the middle of some record breaking heat here and the air conditioner keeps it nice and cold. All the gauges in the van work and the levels on everything are right where they should be. The odometer shows 233768 miles as of today and it works. It will have a few more as I am still using it. The radio has been replaced with a nice Alpine brand one. It has power windows, power locks, and power mirrors, and they all work as they should. The seats, the floor, and all the inside of the van is not all torn up - it all looks very well maintained and clean. I thought it was missing the floor mats, but when I got to taking these museum quality photos, I raised the rear door and they are all in the back where the detail folks put them after they were cleaned. It really is a nice clean van. The exterior of the van is in very good shape - there is only one blemish and that is a rust spot in front of the drivers rear wheel. It must be a paint/body piece defect as the rest of the van does not have rust. The paint and trim on the rest of it is in great shape for the age and miles. Don't be put off by the mileage of the van - it drives and looks like it has a fraction of that many miles. I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere, it is a nice van. You are welcome to come drive it before the auction ends. I am listing this with a starting price of only 99 cents! Yes you read that correctly! There is no reserve, no buy-it-now price, and it will not be removed from ebay once the first bid is placed. HIGH BIDDER WILL OWN IT! I just thought it would be fun to see what it brings. PAYMENT AND AUCTION REQUIREMENTS Do not ask me to sell it early, or take less than the starting price. I will not end the auction for a local sale either. I can load it onto anything that you send to pick it up. Delivery for an additional fee is a possibility within 250 miles of Fulton, Mo, 65251. E-mail me for a quote. I have a neighbor kid that helps me on the farm that will deliver stuff sometimes. I require payment in full within one week of auctions end. Once it is paid for, there is no hurry for you to pick it up - take six months if need be! If you don't come get it after six months have passed since the end of the auction, it will be resold, and my wife gets the proceeds. If you have a legitimate reason why you need to wait longer than six months to pick up your purchase, contact me and we will work something out. If you have any questions, you can e-mail or call me at (573) 219-6611. Thanks for looking and please check out my other auctions! LOCAL PICK UP I am a cattle farmer here in Mid-Missouri, so I am flexible about when you want to come and get items you have purchased from me, but I try and keep a schedule for my families benefit. I ask that you come between 9:00 in the morning and 4:00 at night. I am not available on Sundays whatsoever - that is God and family day, so don't ask! Just because I am a farmer does not mean that I am here everyday, I travel around to auctions and surplus sales and am gone several times a week. So don't do like some folks have in the past and drive 800 miles to get here and find out I am gone. You must contact me before you just show up! My granny always said that showing up unannounced was rude - you have to give people notice so they can get presentable. CONTACT ME If you have any questions about this item, or about delivery or shipping, you can call me or email me. Don't be shy! The only stupid question is the one you are afraid to ask. I prefer email as it lets me answer questions at night when I am not busy and it gives me time to find the right answer to your questions. I also run tractors and skid loaders here on the farm and a lot of times I do not hear my phone. I also live in a rural area and in a lot of places I do not get phone service. One of the places I do not get good coverage is in my shop! So if you can't get me on the phone, try back later or better yet, send me an email and I will get back with you. My cell phone number is: (573)219-6611 MY LOCATION I am located 100 miles west of the St. Louis airport, or 150 miles east of Kansas City, or 20 miles north of Jefferson City, or 25 miles east of Columbia MO. I am 10 miles off Interstate 70, and the exit you take is the Kingdom City exit #148. My farm is three miles south of Fulton, Missouri, zipcode 65251. I also am about an hour north of the Lake of the Ozarks and three hours from Branson, Mo. A lot of folks have bought stuff from me and take a little vacation to these areas when they come to pick it up. If you want to come by here and leave a trailer while you go sightsee or whatever before you head home with your purchase, that is fine with me. I have plenty of parking space. AIRPORT FLY-IN & MISSOURI ONE WAY TRIP PERMIT If you buy a vehicle from me and want to fly in and drive it home, there is a nice shuttle service that runs between the Kansas City (KCI) airport and the St. Louis (STL) airport. It is called: MO-X. They make a stop at my exit on I-70 at a McDonalds restaurant to pick up and drop off passengers. I can meet you in Kingdom City with your vehicle purchase so you can drive it home. They have a website where you can reserve a ticket, or you can buy one at the airport, but you run the risk of it being full and having to wait for the next shuttle if you don't reserve it ahead of time. It costs around $40.00 the last time I rode it. There is a local license bureau three miles from my house. If you come during business hours when they are open, we can stop by there so you can purchase a Missouri one way trip permit, which allows you to legally drive a vehicle home. It does not allow you go on some vacation seeing the highest mountains in all 50 states, but it does allow you to go from point A (my farm) to point B (your home). You have to show them proof of insurance, so bring that, and it costs less than $20.00 which is a lot cheaper than a ticket! Check out my other items! Be sure to add me to your favorites list!
