This is a 1965 Thunderbird Special Landau -one of only 4500 made that year - with a 390 (300 Horse Power) V-8 Engine. It has always been an AZ car and it is free of rust you might find on cars by the sea or where it snows. This car has a very straight body with only two blemishes on the body (one very small dent on the hood and one dent on the rear driver side quarter panel). This car has a rebuilt motor and the transmission is only 6 years old with very low miles. The car itself has 76,972 miles. This Thunderbird runs very well and is mechanically sound. It would be very easy to finish restoring it to a much higher value. This car will need a new vinyl top and the front seats will need new vinyl. The 65 Special Landau is fully electric and will need someone to restore some of the electric, mainly the windows. The dash is in good working order.
