1950 Ford for sale. Shoebox custom "Galaxie cruiser". Stock 50 Ford running gear..v8 flathead..3 sp man. trans. Original engine was replaced last year with a stock flathead v8 from a '52 ranch wagon. Milage was 52,000 with compression averaging 125-130. Good solid body has a 4 inch hardtop chop..rounded trunk and hood corners...molded front bumper and rolled back pan, all masterfully designed and executed by "Tommy Chops" of eastern L.I. Custom interior is all new by "Pirate upholstery", and features midnight blue real leather seats...night sky headliner..(see pics)..new carpet..custom built center consul, and very unique rear cabin lights. The cruiser has a 50 watt Kenwood cd/tuner..with Pioneer 6x9 rear speakers. Also,an additional 1200 watt power amp, with a 200 watt BIG TEN INCH bass tube. Leather steering wheel is stock, as is the dash , gages,knobs etc...Dashboard and interior surrounds boast a SKY design paint..(see pics) Trunk also fitted with custom pleated panels. Exterior paint is Hot Rod Flatz, "Midnight blue" with flames by R/T customs. You will ride in style with your "FORDILLAC" Hubcaps..(60's caddie caps with 50 ford horn buttons in center) on all 4 corners...and you won't have to cruz alone...STEVE will be along. Steve's eyes and head glow red , and the front bullet nose also lights up red. The F-ROD has rear defense squirters, operated from a button on the dash...I HATE Tailgaters! The car is 62 years old and has no guarentee or warrenty of any kind. The 50 runs good, has good brakes (handbrake works)... clutch is smooth, and it rides nice! All lights are working.. Horn relay clicks ..needs replacing and wipers not working , but have replacement wiper assembly that comes with the car, along with boxes of extra original 50 ford parts ..some new , used.. etc...Also included are a pair of fiberglass fender skirts.
