1973 Toyota Land Cruiser

Up for auction is my 1973 Toyota Land Cruiser. This FJ40 runs great and is very clean for it's age. The motor runs very smooth and the 3 speed trans shifts perfect. The body on this FJ was repainted a couple years ago by the previous owner and it's not perfect with the usual scratches and chips but still shines up nice as you can see in the pictures. There was some previous repair done to the rear corner bottoms and may need some attention down the road due to some of the plastic they used starting to crack. The rest of the body is rock solid as you can see in the pics. The floor pans and frame are perfect! The top and doors are from a different FJ because the original color was green and the inside of the doors and top are grey. The doors are in great shape. The driver side window regulator is a little worn. The rear decklid outside handle needs to be replaced because it has a broken catch on the inside. These handles are available brand new for about 45 dollars. The top metal ring that secures the top to the sides is rusty in a couple spots. I did replace the upper decklid hinge bracket with a very solid new bracket as the old one had some bad spots on the inside. The seats in this FJ are not original but very comfortable. The rear jump seat frames are in great shape, the seats need new bottom cushions as you can see in the pics. The suspension has a small lift with 33x12.5x15 BFG mud terrain tires with about 75% tread left. Overall this is an awesome FJ that is very solid and gets lots of attention whenever I drive it!
