Six passenger "blast from the past" motorist heaven. Almost original 1965 Mercury Parklane RAVEN BLACK convertible from Arizona with a beautiful, like new PALOMINO TAN interior. Recent top with matching black boot. Drive any where without worry. Many new parts. All steering/suspension components including ball joints, tie rod ends, stabilizer links, bushings, all four coil springs, shocks, steering box, and idler arm, plus drive shaft have been replaced with new within the last 9,000 miles. Tires have been upgraded to Continental brand RADIALS less than 6,000 miles ago and are like new. Brakes and exhaust system are less than 8,000 miles old. Stops and sounds great! Near perfect 390 cubic inch displacement, 315 Horsepower V-8 engine with less than 5,000 miles on a COMPLETE rebuild. Tight C-6 automatic transmission with 2.75 to 1 economy ratio differential. 18.5 miles per gasoline gallon at 65 MPH achievable with good gas and if no head winds. Very minor body dings. Needs a fuel guage sending unit for fuel tank, new chrome for front bumper, and floor mats. Definitely not a hot rod!!!! Driven primarily by an over 55 year old owner during the last 8 years.
