1973 Torino Fastback When I see these cars, first thing that comes to mind are Starsky & Hutch 70s cop shows and watching Fords winning in NASCAR back then. Restore it as a tribute Nascar, ex TV show car star or better yet, HRPT Resto mod car !! Options include: gauge pkg, factory tach (that works) bucket seats, PS, AC and 400 motor for starters. These cars are just begging to have some modern staggered 20x10 rears and 18x8 up front modern yet retro style rims. A small lowering kit , and restored nicely with PS and AC thiscar could be a daily driver or blast on the next Hot Rod Power Tour. Originally DSO for Phx AZ - never left Az 400 2v / C6 / 9" 31 spline rear shows 125k on the odometer / been parked most of the last 25 yrs. Barn Find for the most part . Some of the work done in the last 30 days:R&R gas tank and fuel pick up , cleaned out and coated. driveshaft balanced and checked with new U joints installed brakes where also doneIt could use a tune up, carb work etc to be a daily driver.As of right now, I can jump in and start it to move it around the yard no problem. Wouldnt drive it around town again tillnew tires where installed and the car gone over with a safetycheck from ft to rear. The windshield is cracked and dr door window busted out. All of the sheetmetal is all Ford original. As is the interior. We could find no rust to speak of on the floors or trunk, just a little on the rear lower 1/4s. A true Arizona dry climate survivor. With its shares of bumps and bruises, Az worn interior its very complete.Runs and drives too ! I drove it home the other nite, a 10 miletrip across town at nite too, it was interesting. Car comes on stock steel wheels with just plain tires for in town driving. IN SOME of the pics youll see some custom alloy rims on the car. They are 18x9.5 rear and 8.5 front Zora Alloys with just some good used tires. They fit great as is BUT a 1" Billet Spacer would have them offset outwards some for a better more factory look. The CUSTOM RIMS w/ tires and spacers DO NOT come with the car but they are are avaliable if there is a winner and they want to buy themseperately for $700 for the rims/tires and $150 for the Billet Spacers. I put them on the car to help potential buyers visualize the potential this car has when its done. With NASCAR heritage, these cars are quickly raising in theranks of collectible 70s for Muscle cars. Nows the time to buy, while the prices are still affordable. I WONT END THE AUCTION EARLY SO DONT ASK Great Fall or Winter project. This car has had one repaint, factory color from what I can tell. Ugly green color, this car should be a more modern Silver color or Graphite maybe on the outside. If it doesnt meet reserve, email me.
