1955 Studebaker Commander Coupe. This is a non running vehicle, Heck!, it probably hasn't run in 25 years. I bought this car as a barn find about 4 years ago, it had been sitting in a barn for over 25 years and I thought I would get to it eventually, Well that didn't happen and now I've gone and hurt my back (getting old's a bear). The floors are solid front and rear, the front and rear glass is good as are the 1/4 windows, door glass is bad and they seem to be off of the tracks on both of the doors The body is solid with some dents, (no charge fer them) The motor doesn't turn and I was told that the owner drove it into the garage and parked it??? It is a 3 speed with overdrive and everything is still there even down to the radio that he pulled out 25 years ago to get it fixed Works or not?? I don't know!! Hood is off right now as I was going to work on the notorious problems Studebaker had with their hoods, this one is not damaged, but I was going to put a plate along the edge so's it wouldn't get damaged. (something about stopping a problem before it gets started) Trunk is locked with no key, but we can reach into it with the rear seat out and unbolt the latch if necessary. It has two good bumpers, front one was off when I bought it, but I've got plenty of them. The two front tires and wheels on the front do not go with the car, but there will be 4 rollers on it when picked up. This has been sitting out for the 4 years I've owned it and I don't want to see it go bad as this is a very good condition Coupe that hasn't ever been wrecked. Title will be free and clear from New Mexico in my name, Once this one and another one that I have on E-Bay are sold and paid for, I will give the winner of these auctions first chance on that other Stude stuff that I have left over at very reasonable prices I'm easy, but I need the room first before I sell any other stuff, like extra fins, chrome taillights, good 57 hood, good dashes, 1/4 panels, extra doors, misc chrome, hub caps, etc. Questions???, call me on my cell phone, 575-494-5119 Dave I listed it under sell a similar vehicle and E-Bay will not let me change the Vin#, the listed Vin# is from another Stude I have For Sale.
