1999 Beetle that I hate to part with but have too many irons in the fire. This car is alot of fun and gets compliments everywhere I go. It is used and has the typical 99 Beetle issues but is mechanically sound and rides and drives well. I bought it stock about a year ago. Not being a big fan of stock vehicles, I started with the build. It has all new KYB struts on all 4 corners. I purchased a 2 inch lift kit (strut spacers) from metal nerd (metalnerd.com) and also added Jetta VR6 springs on the front and Jetta wagon springs on the rear. I put a 4500# Superlift winch behind the bumper and added some Soft 8 wheels with all terrain tires (still like brand new). After all the suspension work was completed, I had a four wheel alignment done. The headliner was trash so I replaced it with Mossy Oak headliner material. It has a recent tune up and runs out well. I added a Thule roof rack. Obviously, the car is not meant for rock crawling but I have had it on a few trails as well as in the woods and it does well for what it is. It still has really decent road manners as well. The front wheel liners had to be removed for tire clearance but the steering goes lock to lock with no rubbing. The heat and AC both blow hot. All of the components are there, may just need charged. The paint is fading and the clear is peeling in places. It does have bumps and bruises as well as dents on the right side (see pics). There is a crack in the windshield and it has a small exhaust leak (makes it sound like the old air cooled bugs- I like the way it sounds. The interior door panel inserts are coming loose. Car is not bad, just trying to be honest. As stated earlier this car is alot of fun, kind of like a street legal four wheeler that can haul 3 of your friends. I have the factory wheels, springs, 2 brand new all terrain tires, and new bumper/foglight insert that will be included in the sale.
