This is for a Real Barn Find 1972 Pontiac Grand Prix with all the original books and the original Build sheet.See Photos.I even have the original keys with the Knock out plugs.This car was custom ordered by the original owner.It is equipped with some cool Rare options.The car was driven into a barn and parked in 1985.It was sold to the guy I got it from in 2005 and he did nothing with it except tow it to his warehouse and store it until I bought it this year.I have the original title showing the car purchased as new.The interior is in Mint condition.It is unreal,the shape its in.The seats,dash,door panels,and carpet are still in Great shape with no cracks or tears.There is no wear in the car.The headliner was removed by me due to mice that had been in it.But they never got in the car.I found the build sheet still under the rear seat.I have a Brand new correct headlinner that will come with the car.The sunvisors and sail panels are still perfect.The gauges are crystl clear and the Rally clock still works,you have to play with it to get it started.The rare factory sport steering wheel is like new and the tilt column is tight.The car still has it's rare factory red dot flip dial am/fm stereo that still plays.Factory tilt wheel and RARE working power bench seat.The power windows all work smoothly and quickly.The doors open and shut like new.All the original weather stripping is still good and still soft.Actually everything electrical still works Great.The car is overall very solid.The body is straight and still wearing all of it's original paint.Nothing is hiding.The car was ordered vinyl top delete so no rust there.There is some rust on both lower quarter on the lower outside skin.The drop offs are still very good.The trunk floor is excellent and still painted black.The trunk lid,doors,hood,rockers and frame are excellent.The floors are unbeleivable.I pulled the sill plates and looked under the carpet and the floor pans are still black like the trunk and the drain plugs are still silver.Other than the rust areas mentioned this is a rock solid car.The exhaust is Toast.The drivers front fender has some rust,but it can be saved.There is also some rust on the core support below the battery.I installed a new battery box.There are a few dents and dings from sitting for the last 27 years the worst being on the passenger side quarter above the wheel well.Something cut/punctured the metal there.About a 6 in gash.See photo.Ther is a minor dent on the drivers side right behind the door,it can be fixed easily.I have the trim piece,it was not damaged.There is NO rust around the windows.The bumpers are straight but need rechroming.I do not have the front driver side marker light assy.I do have the original floor mats(fair shape) and the lower grill.The car also comes with all 5 of it's original Rare Honeycomb wheels and they are in very good shape.There are no cracks in the poly and they have never been repainted.I have 3 original trim rings and 3 center caps.I have a new set of trim rings comming for it and they will come with it.Please note the photo of the rear brake drum,still wearing its factory sticker and the original delco swirl shocks. ***IMPORTANT*** Now for the drive train.**** The 400 motor is very clean inside and out,but is seized from sitting.I pulled the plugs and have been letting it soak with a combo of PB Blaster and Marvels Mystery oil.It now is trying to turn by the starter now.I beleive it will free up.Because of this the car will be sold as is. and is NOT RUNNING.It will need to be trailered.The e brake works and will stop the car for loading purpouses.The oil and trans fluid are very clean and the A/C is still holding a charge.The compressor turns easily.The carb is clean and moves freely.There is still antifreeze in the radiator.All the hoses are Original GM and still have all markings.See Photos. Mice were under the hood,at one time, but other than eating the tops of the original date coded plug wires,they did not bother nothing else.They didn't even get in the breather.Even the factory under hood trouble light still works.The fluid in the turbo 400 trans is still very clean.The rear end is a factory posi trac with 3.08 gears.
