Vehicle Detail
1993 body dropped Ford Ranger low rider show truck with airbag suspension It is 4-cylinder (2.3 liter), 2-wheel drive, 5-speed, with Power Steering, and Power Brakes. This truck is completely custom and has been taken right down to the frame. Below are some of the specifics: Body Modification: Shaved handles, tailgate, taillights, antenna, and 3rd brake light, French front license plate, Custom rear window w/plate, Specialties-Supra taillights, billet grill, and 16 gallon aluminum fuel cell. Suspension: 3 ¼” Body drop, ½” Fast bag set-up, (8) ½” valves, 8 switch box controls, and 2 CO2 tanks, Dropped I-beams in the front, Flip-kit in the rear, Super C-notch, Custom 2 link rear suspension w/pan hard bar, and all frame/components are fully painted or polished.Wheels: 17” Enkei G-Zeroes, 215/40/17 Yokohama Parada Tires. The rims are in great shape and the tires have a lot of tread left on them. Interior:2003 Grand Prix Leather Seats, Custom fiberglass console, Kenwood CD player, Grant steering wheel, White face gauges w/flames. All interior panels are either painted or polished stainless steel. This truck is only driven a few times a year and is stored year round in a temperature controlled garage. I have had the truck stored for the last year.....It has won many trophies at local and out-of-state auto shows. The odometer for this 1993 truck says 135,800 but the majority of that was accumulated prior to the overhaul. Since the project was completed years ago, the truck has around 3,000 miles on it. One thing that I wanted to mention about this truck is that it has a 3-1/4" body drop. What this means is that for the body/cab to sit on the ground, the floor had to be raised up 3-1/4". So, if you are an extremely tall individual, you may not have leg room or head room to sit comfortably in the driver's seat. I'm around 5' 7" and it's ok for me but I wanted to warn you if you're tall. Since it's a regular cab, you can only put the seat back so far to help. Some other things: The driver’s side door has a release / popper on it to get inside the truck (since there's no door handle). The truck no longer has a functional emergency brake, so you may have to install one prior to getting inspected. There is a slight hair line crack on the top of the tail gate / bed area. In addition, the front air valence under the bumper has few minor scratches on it. I've done my best to describe the truck as best as I can but if you have questions, please ask. The title to this vehicle is clean, with no liens. There are no warranties, implied or written, you are buying this truck as is. I am listing the vehicle for sale locally as well so if you're interested or have questions, don't wait to contact me.On Jun-08-12 at 20:17:23 PDT, seller added the following information: The answers to some questions that have come up: The red air horns on the firewall in the engine compartment is for the "Dixie, Dukes of Hazzard" horn. Why I'm selling the truck......I now am a father and don't get to drive it or go to auto shows much anymore. On Jun-09-12 at 00:43:20 PDT, seller added the following information: If you are the winning bidder at the end of the auction, I require a $400 deposit (non-refundable) and the remaining balance paid in full (in person) within 7-10 days of auction end. Buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle and getting it to its new home.On Jun-14-12 at 13:39:25 PDT, seller added the following information: I was just thinking about something that may or may not be an issue for getting an inspection. The truck doesn't have the factory horn anymore, it only has the dixie air horns. If needed, a basic horn could be bought for $15-$25 (new) and installed. On Jun-14-12 at 19:01:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Someone asked me if the truck still has the heater controls. The answer is no. I figured that a truck like this would never be driven in cold weather, so there's no need for heat and the truck didn't come with air conditioning, so the controls/cluster weren't needed. For the interior, I mounted a nice polished stainless steel plate in the place of the heater controls, in the engine compartment on the firewall where the blower fan was I mounted the 5 dixie air horns.
