Vehicle Detail

I'd like to start by saying I love this car and my only reason for selling it is financial. The car has treated me well over the years and is both fuel efficient and a blast to drive. I'm only the second owner. Unfortunetly though, I can not afford the parts needed to get it to pass inspection. This past summer I blew a strut and bent a rim twice on pot holes in Massachusets. (This occured with a Eibach sport supsension). At the end of the season I replaced the whole supsension back to stock and put on my winter tires and rims. Currently I can't afford to replace the rims and tires in order to get it ready for the summer so I'm forced to sell. This car has a long list of upgrades. Some of which are of parts that infomously fail on the focus. With small investment this car will treat some one very well. Car & Driver Review: http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/ford-svt-focus-first-drive-review Upgrades include: (but not limited to) -Screamon' Demon performanc coil pack and wires -K&N Typhoon air intake -Stainless Steel Off-Rode Pipe (cat-delete) -Spec Stage 2 Clutch (Stock clutch wares quickly only 5k miles on this clutch) -Clutch Masters lightweight flywheel (5k miles) -Focus Sport Strut Bar -Camber adjustemnt kit (not installed, but included) -Shorty radio antenna -Focus Mud Flaps -SVT cigarete lighter ignition kill switch (Car won't start unless you push in the cigarette lighter) -Traction control kill switch (Once the car is started pulling out the cigarette lighter kills traction control) -Blue air vent and Footwell lighting with door opening or switch -Switch Panel on fuse panel cover -Mustang Billet aluminum fuel door -DSI aluminum replacement clip (This part is no longer made and replaces a plastic piece that brakes very easily) -Custom Speed hut Dash -Dual Guage A-pillar pod with voltmeter and a/f guage -Blue overhead dome ligh leds -Hella headlights (Not wokring properly) -Billet Aluminum top engine mount -Underdrive Pulley Kit -Blue brake calipers -I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting It also has a new altenator. This is a mechanically sound car that has been well maintained, Runs and shifts well. Oil changes done every 3k with full sythetic. Transmission fluid remplaced with Royal Purple sythetic. I will include almost all parts that will return this car to stock if the auction goes over 1300, only things missing are a replacemet fuse panel cover and the stock headlights. If the auction reaches 1500 I will include the aftermarket radio, Pioneer DEH-P8MP that I payed $400+ for and is programed with a display that says SVT focus. If the auction reaches 2000 I will deliver the car up to 100 miles from Boston, MA. If the auction is below these prices I will give the buyer the option to buy these items upon pick up or delivery of the car. I will also give the car a fresh oil change. To re-iterate the only parts I'm missing in order to return the car completely back to stock are the headlights and a fuse panel cover. These parts are all included if the auction goes over 1300. Now for the bad. I'm being completely transparent and I will list every last issue I know of. That being said, encase I miss a scratch or something this car is being Sold AS-IS, but I do guarantee a running and driving car: Currently the check engine light is on because of an issue with the 02 sensor. I bought a replacement one which turned out to be the wrong one. (it's the front one that is throwing the code) The headlights are not working, I believe there to be an issue with the wiring. There car was rubbed up against while parked at a store and their is significant scratches on the pasenger side as well as the side skirt being damaged. the hood is a bit pitted from rocks and such and the Driver side fender has been damaged do to the tires hitting the lip. The A/C clutch that engages the compressor is missing not sure how, so a/c does not work. (I think a mechanic messed up) The resister pack that controlls the speed of the HVAC blower needs replacing (it only blows heat high or low). The car needs new rims and tires. I have the stock SVT rims but I believe at least two are damaged. All four are included in the auction. (I have already sold my aftermarket rims) A mechanic suggested I may have a vacume leak wich would cause an occasioanl odd iddel. Battery is old and in need of replacing, and I would also suggest doing a water pump and timing belt on this car soon. (They are fine as of now but usualy need replacing around 90k miles) I will update this auction if I remeber any other issues and or upgrades. You are welcome to retract bids if I add an issue that changes your mind. ***PICTURES OF DAMAGE COMING SOON*** On Jun-07-12 at 13:34:26 PDT, seller added the following information: Pictures of damage: I can't revise the item now that there is a bid so here are some photos of damge as well as some of the interior. VIDEO OF DAMAGE and car running: Some more of the Interior pictures (Stock radio included & aftermarket radio included if auction reaches 1500) It's been brought to my attetntion that the car history check shows an issue with the odometer. This is because when I first registered the car I checked the wrong box on the title. Despite the fact the DMV saw me do this and had me sign that it was a mistake they processed the title with that box checked. The miles stated are the actual miles and there is no issue with the odometer. The box they said was checked stated the odometer was over the mechanical limits, which is riducolous anyway because there is no way the car was driven 1 million miles in 3 years. please contact me if you have any concerns or questions. On Jun-07-12 at 17:30:22 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: The battery was a little low and while jump starting the car with a friend the cables on his end go reversed. So unfortunately the alternator is NOT working. Please keep this in mind when bidding. On Jun-08-12 at 15:14:22 PDT, seller added the following information: My original estimate of mileage was a little off. The car actually has 82000 miles On Jun-10-12 at 19:55:10 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer a couple of questions: 1.) The interior is very clean. I would say near perfect besides some discoloration on the passenger seat although that may even wash out with some scrubbing. 2.) The car can not be driven any long distance. The alternator, which charges the battery, is not working and the car will die after a short while. I will have the battery charged so that the winner can see the car running and driving before taking it. 3.) There is no rust damage on the body and typical surface rust on the undercarriage. Nothing at all to be concerned about. 4.) All glass is intact 5.) The car doesn't smoke at all. 6.) There are no leaks 7.) All power options are working (windows, doors, etc) 8.) The deposit is not refundable unless there is an adequate reason for not buying the car, like my misrepresentation or something else along those lines. small scratches and minor problems are not reason enough and there is no haggling the price after the auction. If there are larger issues I will happily refund money and or work out a compromise with the buyer. Please serious bidders only. I'm in financial trouble and can't store the car where it is much longer and don't have time to deal with re-listing the auction. I'm already taking a big hit on the value or this car not doing the repairs myself and selling after. And something I would like to add: in the video I pointed out damage that I didn't mention in the description which was a dent in the rear bumper. Spidering in the paint of the front bumper and a dent on the hood. On Jun-10-12 at 20:13:58 PDT, seller added the following information: 9.) Brakes are good. Rotors were fairly recently replaced and pads still have life on them. 10.) I will only ship if you make all arrangements and payment is received in full and has cleared to my account.
