Up for bid is this 2003 Mercedes-Benz SL500 roadster with glass roof. This car has a beautiful color combination, and 97900 original miles. The current owner had a little issue with the mileage, let me explain what happened, the owner of the car has the car registered under his business name, and has moved a couple of time to different states. He has had business in the states that he has moved to, and every time he moved to a new state he would register the car to the business name in that state, he did this about three time, thats why the carfax states that its had 4 owner but in reality he is the second owner. The state that he move to before moving to Florida was Georgia, and in GA they don't inspect the cars when its registered, so when he was giving the information of the car they asked him for the mileage, he did not have the car with him so he guessed the car had about 120K miles. In reality the car had about 95K original miles on it, he moves down here to Florida a couple of months later registers the car here in FL where they do inspect the mileage of the cars. The car was registered with 97K+ miles which are the actual miles. The owner flew back to GA to fix the mileage information, and is also getting the information fixed in carfax, and we got notarized documentation to show proof the the mileage issue is being corrected. Now back to the cars conditions, the car is in really really nice shape with very few very minor imperfections. its got the right side passenger amber turn signal chipped, and it also has the driver side rear view mirror turn signal chipped as well. I tried to take pictures of all the flaws some very minor scratched and chips very light scuff on the passenger door, besides that the car is almost mint. you can tell its been well cared for and most likely garaged kept most of its life. The interior is in great shape minor wear on the driver seats, and thats it, its beautiful. mechanically perfect, and drives super nice, the tires have about 60% thread left. Oh I have not been able to figure out how the radio works, I can't get volume out of it, the owner said I have to read the owners manual, I will leave that up to who ever buys it.
