1953 R2-C2 Studebaker Flatbed. Believe this to be a 3/4 ton factory stakebed. See the photo of the old ad. This truck is for sale without the drivetrain. The truck had a clutch issue and was parked years ago. The motor and and trans will be out of this truck by the time it is picked up. On the bed of this truck is a 500 c.i. cadillac motor and trans. You can take it too or leave it. One spark plug was out when the last owner left this to the elements. Not sure if it even turns over at this point. The windshields are decent, the passenger side has some yellow separation toward the bottom. The Door glass is broken or cracked, missing the chrome trim on the passenger side window, could be down in the door though. The rear glass is ok. Some dings and dents as seen. Fairly rust free, except some in the lower rockers. Have the registration from '53 to date. Was originally used by a Toy Company here in L.A. and later for "Sun Air Parts" who are still in business today, but in a different location. Under the paint on the doors the logos are barely visible, "S. A. P. sun valley" (sun air parts) Wood is bad on bed. Missing some trim and emblems. Have a few extra misc. parts, knobs, etc. Not sure what works and what doesnt. Passenger door is tough to open, the inner handle is stripped on the stud. The seat is not torn, but faded.Have the driver inner door panel. Its off for some reason but goes with it. Located about an hour north of Hollywood, Ca., in Lebec, CA. Can store for week or two after full payment. Not sure what else to say, check out the photos, ask any questions. With statement of facts form, this title, application for new title, and bill of sale, you are good to go. Probably around $100 give or take.
