Vehicle Detail
272/280 Crane Cam in a 1984 318 High Compression Interceptor. Edelbrock 318/360 Street Performer Intake with a fairly new Holley 600. 8 3/4 3:23 Richmond Ring and Gear. Transmission is 3 years Rebuilt. Less than 5k miles on it and new rings / gaskets / cam and main bearings.Accel Dual Point Distributor. 2 inch exhaust is maybe 3 years old. Sounds Great! Runs Fast. Needs tires. I have two Rallye Wheels on front, have two more for the rear but the bolt pattern does not match. New Battery. A few minor drips (I tend to over-tighten gaskets), but absolutely no seal leakage. Motor, Trans and Rear End are VERY TIGHT. It's no 1/4 mile car, but it will turn the rear over about all you want. I have 2 complete trim / moulding kits (very rare) and all lamps are functional - including the top-fender mounted turn signals.I even have the original leather seat medallions. Minor rust in some areas, no serious damage to mention. Maybe mid-level rust on rear quarter (had water in trunk). Only one real wreck, previous owner (older gentleman) put the right side into a ditch (low impact). No frame damage. And my son bit a yellow pole at the gas station (right fender / door lower). A bit weathered from living outside for a while, but nothing a mid-level restoration would not take care of completely. This is an A/C car...and I have most all the parts including the interior ventilation system. Very stable front suspension with new torsion bars front and leaf springs on rear. Converted to disc brakes (manual, no power). All doors, windows and such are fully funtional. I also have original invoice, window sticker and owners manual. I have owned since mid 1990's - and there are ZERO cheap parts on this car (Wix, Dana, Richmond, Victor, Gates). No Autozone Junk ever installed. I only use parts from NAPA (except the new battery is from O'Reilly). Again, not show room fresh (it is 45 years old) but I would drive it anywhere with a new set of tires. I have a Factory owners repair manual (3 inches thick), window sticker and dealer invoice.
