Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1992 Saab 900 Turbo convertible. Car has always been well maintained and adult driven. It has a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine with a 3 speed automatic transmission, power everything. If you are looking at this auction then I am sure you are knowledgeable on Saabs so I will spare you the history lesson and my personal convictions on how great I think they are. I will list all of the “good” first. 1. Runs and drives GREAT!! 2. Have repair receipts (history) for last 5 years 3. TIRES, BRAKES, EXHAUST ALL IN GOOD CONDITION 4. New tie rods and steering rack 5. Steering hoses and steering pump replaced within last year 6. New belts, radiator hoses, tune-up, timing set 7. Have receipts for a new radiator, motor mount and automatic transmission serviced 8. Tan leather interior. 9. REGULAR OIL CHANGES every 3000 miles 10. All signals and lights work. 11. All gauges work properly 12. ALTERNATOR & BATTERY REPLACED WITHIN PAST YEAR 13. CONVERTIBLE TOP IN GREAT SHAPE AND WORKS FINE (switch can be a little finicky sometimes) 14. Pioneer AM/FM CD Stereo with nice Pioneer speakers installed in dash factory speakers in rear 15. Clean original wheels. 16. Good suspension and axles. 17. Working power mirrors. 18. Rear Defroster works fine. 19. Original paint from what I can tell. 20. Clear NJ title, licensed and insured in my name. Now I will list what all I consider as “needs work” or non-functioning: 1. THERES A SMALL Crack in windshield about half inch. 2. Front drivers seat doesnt work, the switch needs to be replaced. 3. Power antenna doesnt work properly, seems to be stuck. 4. Windshield washer doesnt squirt fluid. one of the nozzles is broken but this can be fixed for a few dollars. 5. My mechanic mentioned car may need to have u-joint for steering replaced. The steering is fine but can be a tad stiff at times 6. Heated seats dont work but this is common in Saabs. 7. AC compressor needs a re-charge. 8. The ABS and SRS lights are illuminated on dashboard. I spent over $600 to have this fixed at the Saab dealership. They replaced the clock spring and some other parts about a year or so ago but the problem came back several months later so i just lived with it since Saab went out of business. Its possible that it might just need to have the codes cleared by GM who now services Saabs for the lights to disappear 9. Seats have some wear but are in decent condition overall 10. Both front fenders have some damage. Drivers side is just a dent but the passenger side has paint scrapes, some light rust and has multiple dents. 11. Theres some rust on lower portion of driver front door. 12. The paint on both doors are somewhat faded in spots plus theres various light scratches on passenger door. 13. dashboard is cracked in several areas and this is very common in the older saabs. 14. drivers side headlight loose needs a bracket replaced. 15. Lastly fog lights are not included even though the pictures show them installed on car. 16. Minor oil drip To sum it up car has been very reliable for me and is very fun to drive. I’ve tried to list everything good and bad about the car. If you have any specific questions please email me. s
