1985 BMW 524TD (TURBO DIESEL) GREASE CAR This is a very rare BMW turbo diesel that has been converted to run on vegetable oil using a two tank grease car system. This means the car can run as it was meant to using just diesel that you would buy at a gas station, OR you can switch to the second tank located in the trunk of the car and run off of vegetable oil. This is awesome! Diesel cars get great gas mileage, especially when you're not paying for the gas!! - Tan Interior - Power windows, doors, seats, everything! Its a BMW! (power headrests!!) - Automatic- European M5 ground kit (front and rear bumper valance) - CD Player - Roughly 150,000 miles - New struts, control arms, starter, alternator, and fuel pump. - New glow plugs and diesel fuel filter - Newer battery Car starts right up and drives great. The fuel injector pump seal is starting to leak (this is different then the fuel pump in the rear of the car which was replaced) and I will include a refurbished injector pump. I was planning on replacing it but didn't get to it. My mechanic says I can continue to drive the car and it'll run just fine, but will start to leak a little fuel as time goes on... This could be someone's daily driver but would make a great second car. The diesel system does require a bit of maintenance once in a while but its truly great, and you'll save a bunch of money on gas. I'm told this engine was originally designed for marine use and you can't kill this thing, it'll run forever. It's a VERY RARE car, you can get a Benz or VW diesel but I've never seen another 524td in CT, and never another 524TD with this ground/bumper kit.
