Delivered new in San Francisco. This car has been cherished all its life and has covered over 100,000 miles since new. This is a 2.2 liter, 6 cylinder car with fuel injection and a 4-speed transmission. It goes superbly and is surprisingly frugal on gas; I just drove the car from Santa Barbara to Riverside and it did not miss a beat. She is a real treat to drive, the brakes and handling are superb and the engine pulls very nicely in all gears. The body is superb, all panels are original, she has never had rust or accident damage, the undercariage is beautiful, 100% original and rust free. No fluid leaks, either. A real testament to well cared for California cars. The paint is quite recent and of high quality in the original Mercedes black, while not a show car, it presents itself beautifully and would not look out of place anywhere. The interior is in contrasting black & camel Tex. The seats are all excellent and useable the wood holds a deep gloss shine that gets alot of attention. The carpet is new with contrasting camel color and tan binding. Overall, this is a superb driving and useable classic Mercedes Benz that presents itself well and with some attention to detail will give years of faithful service. The interesting history and specification as well as all books and manuals make it a very unique and attractive investment.
