Greetings: You are bidding on a mostly original 1962 Ford Econoline Van in restorable condition. This is a southwest vehicle with little rust. However, there is rust-through in the passenger side floor pan visible in the photos. This van runs and drives...but not well. The engine appears to have been rebuilt but the head gasket is blown and leaks coolant where the head meets the cylinder block. The van runs well enough to drive onto a trailer. It has a new (not rebuilt) nos Ford carburetor. I believe the engine is a later model 170 or 200 six out of a Falcon or Mustang. This is a project vehicle needing work. It is by no means a parts vehicle and could be easily restored to like new. The van needs body work, paint, interior work...everything. So bid accordingly. The van is mostly complete and comes with a many new, used, and nos parts in boxes. Included is a new windshield glass with new rubber seal, nice original spare Econoline transmission complete with bellhousing, nos front rubber floor mat, new door locks, nice used door latches and parts, nos spare wheel, front and rear bumpers with brackets, original carburetor with air cleaner, battery box cover, glove box door and new glove box insert, extra steering wheel with several horn buttons, dash gauges, new heater core and heater parts, taillights, new taillight and turn-signal lens, one pair of nice blue arm rests, extra pair of headlight surrounds, sunvisors, belly splash pan, and other additional parts not identified here. This Classic Ford van is being offered at a low opening bid and low Reserve. I have a clear...signed...open...California title (not in my name) in hand. A $250.00 deposit is required. The buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements. The vehicle will need to be picked up before Monday June 11 as I will be going out of town. All sales are final.
