Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Reasonably Priced No Reserve Land Cruiser is in near stock condition. The FJ40 does have some rust in the usual places, but is very solid for a 1975 and the body is not full of bondo. The floors are super solid, the most solid I have seen. The frame is solid too. I believe the Landcruiser has spent the entirety of its life in Colorado explaining why the body is still pretty solid after 37 years. The vehicle does have a two-barrel Chevy 350 motor in it that runs strong. I believe the motor is out of 1977 Chevy Malibu. The motor does have some leaks but seems strong. The drive train is stock Toyota with a 4 Speed Transmission. The clutch seems solid. The drum breaks are drum breaks and do a pull a little. The 4-wheel drive and hubs seem to work good. The truck has Firestone Tires that are 70% tread but they are starting to show some age cracking. Wheels and hubcaps are OEM stock. The speed odometer, mileage trip, and the fuel gauge do not work. The the gauge cluster does light up. The amp gauge does work. All the lights and turn signals work. The passenger side outside door handle isn't working I am guessing a rod is off. The door function fines from the inside, opens and closes without issue. Driver’s side window needs a little help to get all the way closed, likely needs a window regulator. The windshield is cracked, all other glass is good. Lastly, the starter seems like it may going. These are all minor issues, but do not want there to be any surprises for anyone. Recent repairs include replacement of the clutch master cylinder, replaced the radiator and a new water pump. Rear heater included. Previous owner took it out. Just needs contacted to hoses and bolted down, house are in place. OEM bottle jack and handle included. Let me know what questions you may have. I feel the photos are a good representation of the vehicle. It's a nice Landcruiser with a lot of potential that has not been hacked up. As you know they are getting difficult to find in near stock condition. Thanks
