NO RESERVE! You are bidding on a 1955 Ford Fairlane; the car is in excellent condition The interior has recently been redone hush mat under new carpet, fresh paint on all metal services dash etc. all rubber, felt, glass etc. has been replaced, rebuilt steering box and shaft 2 yrs. ago the front end is original but is tight and does not wander. A 5 speed BorgWarner transmission was installed over this last winter along with a new clutch, pressure plate and drive shaft. Gas tank, shocks are new as are the tri bar headlights, and a complete Flowmaster exhaust system w/super 40 mufflers 2 yrs ago. The engine has approximately 1200 miles on a complete rebuild, had the valve seats hardened, dual roller timing chain chrome moly push rods etc. only the best internals were used. MSD Billit Distributer, Blue Thunder Intake and Edlebrock carb. all engine parts internal and external were purchased from Red's Headers in Calif. who also made the great headers on the engine. all work and parts are documented, the engine is the original 272 bored 10 over and averages 15 mpg in town the engine is very strong and very streetable while a Griffin aluminum radiator keeps it running nice and cool. I am having some health problems and must let her go. Might consider trading for a late model Toyota or Ranger Pick-up as I need a daily driver.
