1949 Packard sedan Super 2332 series with a 327 CU IN stright 8. That was the mid series for Packard in 1949. It has had the radiator rebuilt, the motor was removed, cleaned and painted. A new water pump, fuel pump, clutch plate, plugs, wires, points, were installed. Carburetor has been serviced. It has new brakes .New correct 6 V battery. Near new 235 15 radial tires. The interior has been completely re upholstered new seat covers, head liner, door panels, and carpet. All the foam and under lying materials are new as well. The trunk has been upholstered as well. The windows have been disassembled cleaned, lubricated, and some of the felts and channels have been replaced as needed. All the lights work, as well as the horn, radio, heater fan, cigarette lighter. All the fluids have been replaced. The three speed overdrive has been repaired and serviced and works. It has the keys to the trunk latch, glove box, doors and ign. And they all work properly. At some point in the past it was repainted. The original collar was gray. It is now a cream and brown. The paint is in nice condition. It shins and shows well. It does have some touch up spots. The largest is on the right side of the hood. The touch up spots do not match perfectly but in most lighting conditions are not very apparent. The chrome is nice. There are a few small dents on the belt line trim. One taillight housing has some small amount of pitting. There is a crack in one of the grill bars. The bumpers are nice. The outside mirrors have been replaced with aftermarket replacement mirrors. There chrome and look nice, but they are replacements. The right front door glass has been replaced. I found no evidence that it has ever been in a hard wreck. The rocker panels have a dent on both sides. I think someone damaged it sometime loading it on a trailer. Runs and drives great can be seen at Garrison auto service in Garden City KS.
