Originally this car was brought to my shop to be restored. The owner of the car had obtained the car as an inheritance from his grand fathers estate. The man explained to me that the car had be sitting in his grandfather's barn for ages. In the process of this car being restored he and his wife got divorced therefor he sold this car to my nephew. Over the past year that it has taken to restore this car my nephew has gotten married and now has a baby. Due to the cost of his new family he has to sell this car. The title on this car states that it is a 1972 Plymouth Satilite, shows its orginal miles of 16,500. The present odometer reading states 16,981 miles. the owner of this car assured me these are the orginal miles of the car ,, All the origanal emblems and decals from the car shows this car is a Sebring Plus and I still have the origanal hood and emblems from this car. The motor of this car is a 440 showing a date code of 01-03-1972. The cylinder of this block was over board and a steel sleeve insert was installed to ensure this block to have perfect cylinders and prevent future cylinder wear to the block with 30,000 larger pistons installed , all the machine shop work for this motor was done by Roberts machine shop in lexington ky , This block has the steel 440 six pack crank shaft, the camshaft is a low end torquer camshaft to increase horse power and has great sound ,, with a valve lift of 422 intake ,444 exhaust ,,All the interior of this car the front and rear seats, six bow headliner, sail panels, dash pad, carpet, rear window pad, new weather molding and window swipes are new from legendary. new door and trunk locks and new chrome turning signals that set in the center of hood , new chrome hood pins and coated cables to not scratch paint ,,, new marker lenses , etc ,. has flow master exhaust mufflers, this car was stripped down and complete inside and uncarriage of car was paint coated satin black with raptor bed linner thinned to enhance apperance were needed such as under the hood , trunk , motor bay and door post as one can see the pictures of in listing ,, , this car is as nice on the underside as its top side ,,, pictures show the car front grill painted chrome its now painted as pics show satin black , pics show i have the orginal decal package for the car that cover the hood fenders and roof ,,,due to every one thinking this is the black triple X car from the movies i decide to let the new owner decide if he wishes to put the decals on the car or not ,,, the hood decals state 440+6 for apperance and keep one guessing and of course my nephew plans were to put a six pack on the car ,, however it now has a 4 barrel elderbrock ,,, car has rear air shocks to make it easy to change aperance stance or ride height of the car ,,, this car is gorgeous and it looks like a black mirror ,, when inside with no sun light it reflects every thing inside as a mirror ,,, this car is being sold as is ,, i reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time ,, any one who is serious about buying this car is welcome to come see the car before the auction ends ,, or ask any question you wish and ill try to answer your question as soon as i possibly can ,,, also this car has a clear title and ready for transfere ,, i also know of a car shipping company thats very resonable and will be happy to get a quote if a person cant come drive it home ,,, thanks and happy bidding On May-21-12 at 20:31:31 PDT, seller added the following information: ATTENTION ,, a man placed a bid on this car for 21,000.00 and called to inform me he was going to the bank this week ,, i had him retract his bid ,, if you dont have the cash to purchase this car please dont bid ,, ALSO if you got zero feed back you must contact me in writting before bidding or i will cancel your bid ,, thanks ,, happy bidding
