Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE 1972 Ford Bronco Description Well, here it is a, very original Bronco. I looked for many years, and this is the one I ended up with. Bought from the original owner’s son (the son was 59 at the time of sale) from Buena Vista, Colorado, this vehicle was in Colorado its entire life, until October of 2011. The plan was to restore and enjoy a moving project. Has not gone down as planned, to many kids and have not been using it enough, but I have driven it around a bit, and it is a very nice running vehicle. You will notice the headliner is still in tact, and in good condition. I don't think the roof has ever been off, all bolts look untouched, as well as rifle racks would need to be removed as well. Mechanical 302 V8, 3 speed on the tree. When I first received the vehicle I took it to an old time mechanic (knows how to work on carburetors), and he went through it and adjusted the carb for flat land. It was operating at 8,000 feet in its former life. He adjusted the Dwell, Idle speed, and idle mixture, adjusted choke. The fuel gauge was inoperable, he got that working again, replaced oil gauge nylon line, and replaced fuel hose at Aux tank sender, as well as replaced fuel gauge switch. He also replaced the brake switch all of the lights are working and it is ready to go. Body needs: Passenger Fender Lower Rocker Driver and Passenger Front floor Pans Passenger and Driver Driver door pillar and cowlFront Bumper need replacement or fixed. Needs new paint, many bare spots on the hood, with surface rust, no areas rusted through except the Rocker panels. Interior- Has original flooring still intact could be salvaged or you could replace with the flooring of your choice. Needs new seat covers, and dash board has cracks. I have new shift collar housing, painted but not installed Mechanically, the engine smokes at start up, but runs real strong.
