Up for sale is my 1965 Mustang GT originally Rangoon Red "A" Code with a 4 speed toploader. This car was completely restored in the late 80's on the West coast and shipped to Connecticut in 1989. It was registered in California as "NUSHELBY" I still have the plates .I am the 3rd owner since it arrived in CT. I have owned the car since 1997 and the mileage on the motor rebuild since it arrived in CT is about 6000 miles. The car since I have owned it has always been garaged and pampered and never abused. I have the complete rebuild folder that came with the car that lists all the parts and work done and cost at the time . Very meticulously done by the person who had it restored .The Engine rebuild ( which I can not verify internal parts ) was 3500.00 in the rebuild time frame of 1986. The motor runs excellent and cool and always has started even after a winter of sitting.The mileage listed is on the speedometer but not what the actual mileage is. 6000 miles since it arrived in Ct and what ever was put on it the couple of years it was in California after the restoration.VIN 5R09A185414 stamped on the fender apron. It was a driver not a show car and is still looks very nice. The paint is pearlecent and really shows at night under the lights.The car has taken a number of trophies at car shows. The interior is in excellent shape over all as you can see in the pics . The vent cowling ,when I received the car, had inside the vent paint that was peeling. I removed the peeling paint and sprayed a rust converter inside the cowling vent to keep it from rusting and is the one spot on the car that has basically a primer finish .
