Hello Mopar fans. Up For auction I have a 1970 Dodge Challenger 4 speed Convertible for sale. This beautiful Mopar is a California Car. The current owner is the 3rd owner and he has owned it since 1985. An amateur restoration was completed on this car in 1989 since then this car has always been kept indoors. During the restoration the truck compartment was replaced due to rust issues. The original 318 ci engine was also replaced with the 340 under the hood now so it is not a numbers matching car. The paint was matched as close as possible to the original color. This car is a real head turner to say the least. I would call this car a 20 footer you can see the chips and minor flaws in the paint up close. This car is a driver it runs strong and drives down the road great. The noticeable rust issues are in the lower rear corners on the body under both doors I took detailed pictures of both areas so please look at all my pictures before you bid. I also took picture of paint chips and minor flaws so please look them over as well. This car has a new top and rear glass, new carpet and a new rear bumper. The front bumper needs to be re-chromed. The original dash has a small crack. The driver’s door panel has a corner broken out of it as seen in the picture. The hood springs and hinges will need to be replaced they are week and cause the front corners of the hood to stay held up after it’s closed. The trim tag under the hood was lost in 1989 after the amateur restoration was performed. The odometer reading shows 81,958 miles however in sure it been turned over. The gas gage works but it is not consistent so it may need to be repaired or replaced. Overall this is a great looking car inside and out it does turn a lot of heads but it is not perfect. This Challenger will make a great driver for the high bidder. Please Read!!! Please do not ask me the Reserve it is not fair to the other Bidders!!!
