This is a 1991 Mercury Capri onvertable. Red in color with grey cloth interior. This has a 4 cylinder (1.6) motor with an automatic transmission,drivers air bag, power steering,power disc brakes,air conditioning,power windows,power locks,am-fm stereo with cassete player and power mirrors. This has been parked in dry storage for the last 4 years until we purchased it. New oil and filter,new spark plugs,drained out the old fuel replaced with new and a fuel additive and filter.The paint is in excellent condition,the door panels and carpets are perfect,no cracks in the dash.There is some wear on the drivers seat,a very small spot of rust bubbles (3 inches by 3 inches)down in front of the right rear wheel opening,two patches on the sides down low on the convertabe top (we have seen this on almost every one we looked at),the power windows work very well off the master switch (drivers door) the button on the passenger door is missing.All the glass is in excellent condition,the tires are in perfect condition with many thousands of miles left on them.The motor is the 1.6 dual overhead cam. One of the automatic head lifgts is not working correctly will close automaticaly but will not open automaticaly only by manuel. Drives very good,tight,brakes are good.As you can see this is a very nice little car for fun or collecting. Underneath is nice and clean. Great gas milage,shifts perfect,almost new battery.This is for sale locally. We require a $500. non refundable deposit at time of auction end and the balance with in 72 hours unless special arrangements for the balance are worked out. We can not deliver..
